Context of Practice Evaluation

Overall, I think my project was successful in a way that it communicates what I have wanted to say all along. It has been one of the hardest modules to work on to date; I have been tested a lot throughout, and I have developed my work in a way that I am proud of. I've found something I'd like to look into more in extended practice. The fashion element is really interesting for me; it allows me to continue working on portraits, yet challenges me to push the imagery as much as I can to make it stand out. The dissertation element was easier than I thought it would be, which I'm a bit worried about, because I don't know if this means I've not done it right! I had lots of guidance with it which helped me so much, especially with time planning; I wrote it over a steady period of time in order to get it done for each tutorial. This relieved stress tremendously. I wish I had more to show for my final outcome, but I am glad that I've ended up with well informed imagery that is different and more developed than previous work. I think this project has also helped me to gain a deeper knowledge about popular imagery/culture, as well as an understanding of growing ways that imagery is shared, which should make my illustration work progress further.
