For 8 Weeks Leeds College of Art's Progression team is running workshops for young people with an interest in further art education, the theme of these workshops is animation. I've assisted as a student ambassador on some of the workshops, and these include the use of plasticine models and drawn work for stop frame animation.
It's a nice thing to be involved in, because the participants enjoy creating their animations, and it is good to be there to help inspire them, especially when we're also learning about the processes of animation in our studio practise module.
