Where am I now?

10 Things I've learned as a learner on this programme:

1. I can work a lot more than I thought was possible - with added pressure I've worked really hard to complete work on time.

2. With practice, time pressure can push me to ensure I produce work to a good standard sooner.

3. Each brief means a lot of planning, research, thumbnailing and testing, rather than just producing a final outcome.

4. Attendence is essential for getting the most out of my course - whenever I miss a day, it feels like i've missed a lot of information

5. My degree is more important than part time jobs that distract me from work and add too much stress.

6. It's important to stay healthy and get a reasonable amount of sleep in order to remain focused and keep my attendance up.

7. Staying in until late will help me to complete all of my work on time and allow me to have more free time afterwards.

8. It's important to blog regularly.

9. Constant self reflection and evaluation helps my progress.

10. Listing my tasks helps me to organize my day effectively.

10 Things I've Learned as an Illustrator:

1. I've learned that I get on well with Photoshop - to create digital paintings.

2. I mostly enjoy creating portraits and studying the human figure

3. Composition is interesting to me and I want to learn more about it, i'd like to look into making movie posters etc. like I did in Visual Communication.

4. Working in education still interests me, as I've enjoyed working as a progression student ambassador.

5. I've been getting faster at producing highly detailed images.
